Thank you for your interest in IDA's Fiscal Sponsorship Program!
Please read the following carefully:
- A typical turnaround time for all expedited application is 2 - 3 weeks.
- There is a non-refundable $150 fee for requesting an expedited review.
- Please read through our FAQ page about expediting applications to understand what applications we prioritize and what we don't.
- You must be an active Doc Maker-level member of IDA to apply for fiscal sponsorship.
- You can save your progress and return to your application at a later time by clicking "Save" at the bottom of the page, then "Skip create an account" and "Get draft link" in the popup window. This will copy the link to your clipboard. Make sure to paste the link somewhere you can access it later. Drafts are only saved for two months. If you plan on working on your submission longer than that, please save it in an external document. Do not attempt to log in with your IDA account as the credentials will not match.
- Please read through our full guidelines carefully here. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
A Note on AI: We understand that Artificial Intelligence has become a popular and useful tool when writing applications; however, we encourage you to use your own words as much as possible. Our review team is adept at identifying the use of AI, and we find that AI-written applications often sound generic and contain incorrect information. Documentaries require original research, attention to detail, and the ability to tell stories. If your submission is written by or heavily uses AI, it becomes difficult for us to evaluate these skills.
