• Emergency Assistance Intake Form

  • IDA Emergency Assistance program is designed to financially support documentary filmmakers whose work has put them in imminent and extreme danger. Eligible filmmakers may request a one-time emergency grant ranging from $1000 to $5,000 (USD). IDA will respond to all applications within 24 hours and handle them with strict confidentiality.

    Payment process: We are only able to send funds via wire transfer or Paypal. Please note that PayPal has a $5,000 limit for unverified accounts.

    Your application is likely to be considered more quickly if your references are professional contacts who can provide specific details about your work and situation.
